FIFA has announced that members of the general public that purchased FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ tickets online through the official ticketing website may submit those tickets for resale on the FIFA Official Ticket Resale Platform.

Ticket resale

Ticket resale is the process of putting up FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ tickets to be re-sold on the FIFA Official Ticket Resale Platform. This process provides an opportunity for the original purchaser of the tickets to obtain a partial refund of the amount paid for the tickets.

Note: There is no guarantee for a partial refund. The partial refund is subject to the tickets being successfully sold on the platform.

FIFA Official Ticket Resale Platform

FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ tickets that were purchased online through the official ticketing website may submit tickets for resale on the FIFA Official Ticket Resale Platform only. To access this, the original purchaser must log in to their FIFA Ticketing account or click on the links below:

How to put tickets for resale?

1. Log in to your FIFA Ticketing account.
2. Select the “Tickets to resell” option from the menu on the right side of the screen.
3. Tick the tickets that you would like to put up for resale.
4. Click on the ‘RESELL X TICKETS’ button on the lower right of the screen.

5. Double check the information of the tickets for reselling.
6. Tick the acknowledgment of the terms and conditions.
7. Click on ‘SUBMIT FOR RESALE’ to confirm.
8. You will be redirected to the confirmation screen and your tickets will now be available for resale on the FIFA Official Ticket Resale Platform.

Things to note:

• FIFA Ticketing will determine in its sole discretion when a ticket submitted to the Resale Platform by an original ticket purchaser is ultimately posted on the Resale Platform for potential sale to a resale ticket purchaser.
• The original ticket purchaser may submit any number of tickets to the resale platform intended for guests whilst retaining tickets for their own use.
• If the original ticket purchaser wishes to submit their own ticket to the resale platform, they must submit all other tickets purchased by them for the same match. Guests are not permitted to attend any matches without the original ticket purchaser. If not all of the tickets are successfully resold on the resale platform, the original ticket purchaser may still attend the given match.
• FIFA Ticketing establishes all ticket prices on the Resale Platform, which may be lower than or greater than the price paid for the ticket by the original ticket purchaser.
• Tickets listed on the Resale Platform do not include any information relating to the original ticket purchaser or the price paid for the ticket by the original ticket purchaser.
• Whilst a ticket is listed on the Resale Platform, it cannot be used by the original ticket purchaser or any guest of the original ticket purchaser.

Resale Window

The resale platform will be open from 2 August 2022 until 16 August 2022 at 12 pm Doha time.

Another resale window will be available closer to the tournament and will be confirmed by FIFA.

Resale Fee

FIFA Ticketing will charge an administration fee to the reseller and the resale ticket purchaser. The charge is on a per ticket basis and for each ticket sold on the Resale Platform. The amount shall equal the greater of either two Qatari Riyals (QR 2) or five percent (5%) of the ticket face value paid by the original purchaser. For the reseller, the fee will be charged by way of a reduction of the refund. For the purchaser, the fee is charged on a total transactional basis.

Refund Process

Once the tickets are successfully resold on the Resale Platform, the refund process will be within thirty (30) working days following the end of the Resale Window.

How to purchase tickets from the FIFA Official Ticket Resale Platform?

1. From the FIFA Ticketing account homepage, select the ‘RESALE PLATFORM’ on the upper right of the screen.
2. Browse through the available matches with tickets on resale.
3. Select the match you would like to purchase tickets for.

4. Select the ticket category and quantity of tickets you wish to purchase.
5. Click on the ‘ADD TO CART’ button to confirm.

6. Set the main applicant and the guest applicant by filling in and assigning the ticket holder details.
7. Once details are filled, click on ‘CONTINUE’

8. You will be taken to the summary of order page, check the details once more.
9. Once confirmed, click on ‘PROCEED TO PAYMENT’ at the end of the summary page to purchase the tickets.

10. Select your payment method and fill in card details.
11. Once payment is confirmed, your purchased tickets will now appear on your FIFA Ticketing account under ‘My Tickets’.

Note: You will have 15 minutes to complete your purchase or the tickets selected will be forfeited.
